  • Author: Ellen Davis
  • Total Time: 10
  • Yield: 4 cups dip 1x

Description

A true celebratory dip! The flavor of your favorite cake batter with the consistency of icing. Serve with pretzels, fruit, and graham crackers for a festive platter! This no-bake dip is ready in 10 minutes.

Instructions

  1. Using a stand or hand mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and thawed cool whip together until all lumps are incorporated and the mixture is smooth. This may take a few minutes!
  2. With the mixer on lowest setting, add in the cake mix a bit at a time. (Adding slowly will reduce the chances that your cake mix flies all over the counter.) Pour in 1/3 cup of milk to start, then add 2 tablespoons more at a time until you reach desired consistency.
  3. Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of your sprinkles, reserving the rest for topping.
  4. To serve, scoop the dip into a bowl and top with remaining sprinkles. Arrange on a platter with any of the following for dipping: pretzels, pretzel thins, pretzel rods, fresh berries, apple slices, chocolate wafers, vanilla wafers, graham crackers, animal crackers.
