Brussels have come a long way since grandma used to boil them and serve ’em up plain. If you haven’t jumped on the brussel bandwagon yet, today is your day, my friend. The addition of bacon, shallots, and apples in this brussel sprout dish makes it more a one-pot meal than a side. This would be a great accompaniment to pork, but I like to eat a big bowl by itself! We’ll just be impressed if you don’t eat the whole pan by yourself.
Oh, and did I mention..it all cooks in one skillet? I love any dish that cuts down on dish washing time. We’re not trying to add to the pile!
